MoU for preparing Ethical Hacking Professionals by US Based EC Council at Emax

In order to educate the students of Emax Institutions on the benefits and importance of Ethical Hacking College has recently signed a MoU with Channel Partner of EC-Council. EC-Council is a professional body established in USA, which certifies individuals in various e-business and security skills. They are the owner and developer of the world famous Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and EC-Council Certified Security Specialist (ECSS) and many other fundamental programs in the realm of Wireless Networks and Security. This initiative has made Emax the first Institution in Haryana to take such a step. MoU was signed by Rajiv Bansal Finance Secretary Emax and Sumit Gupta, Director Secure Net Technologies, Authorized Channel Partner of EC-Council in India. Vice Chairman Prithi Raj Bansal, General Secretary Pradeep Aggarwal, Media Advisor Praveen Sharma and Training Placement Officer Sunil Arya were also present during the signing of MoU.

The International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) is a member-supported professional organization headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. The EC-Council also operates the EC-Council University, offering Masters Degrees in Security Science (MSS) and Business Administration in e-business(MEB)

This MoU will facilitate the delivery of EC-Council courses at Emax through the trainers from Secure Net, the Authorized Training Centre for EC-Council. “This is the first time that such a tie up has been facilitated in Haryana. In the current times, dependency on internet has increased. This course will not only help the students in learning about a new field but also improve their job prospects.” said Dr Baljeet Kapoor, Director General of the College.

Chairman of the College Om Prakash Aggarwal said that organizations and companies are employing ethical hackers so as to quantitatively assess and measure threats to information assets and discover where the organization is most vulnerable.

Excitement could be seen among the students on hearing about the association. Thrilled on being asked about the interest to learn the course Harman from Computer Science Department said, “I had heard about this course a lot but did not know where to do it from. It is great that the University has facilitated to provide this in the campus itself. I am surely enrolling myself for it!”
