Wipro picks 11 students from Emax Group of Institutions



A Joint Campus Placement Drive was organized at E-max Group of Institutions by Wipro for picking up B.Tech students of the region. Over 175 students from across various colleges of north India participated in the joint placement drive. The drive started with a pre-placement talk by Sanjiv Rastogi, Officer of the Wipro & his team. This was followed by Basic Screening, Voice Assessment, HR Interview and Domain/Technical. Finally 11 students were selected. The selected candidates will join as Technical Supporter with salary packages ranging from 1.80 lacs. Company’s representatives expressed satisfaction on the quality of the students and wished them a bright future ahead and assured to visit again for selection of more students from Emax Group of Institutions. Rajiv Bansal, Secretary Finance of the E-max Group congratulated the selected students and motivated them to their best to their abilities in their respective jobs. Pradeep Aggarwal, General Secretary of the College thanked the officials of the company and stressed upon the students to work with a clear vision and focus to succeed in the highly competitive scenario. TPO of the College informed that more national & international companies will be visiting Emax Group of Institutions for selecting the students. He told that apart from the students of the Emax Group, students of the other colleges can also participate in the placement drives. Chairman Om Prakash Aggarwal congratulated the selected students. Industrial Visit to Dibon Group of Companies for Emax Business School students



Students of Emax Business School were taken to an Industrial visit to Dibon Group of Companies Mohali Campus. More than 40 students of Emax were part of this visit and they were accompanied by Asst. Prof. Sanjeev Saini (Head of Department) who played an instrumental role in conducting this visit. Students visited the Dibon Campus as part of the Emax Industry-Institute Connect EIIC program, initiated mainly to connect academics with industry requirement and accelerate the learning curve to equip the student to perform well once he is ready for placements.

The visit started with a session by Atul Nanda CEO of the company, where in the speaker first congratulated the students of Emax Business School on being well dressed and thanked them for showing respect for the program. Later, the speaker explained students how to lead different sets of people once they become managers and advised students to know the grass roots level first by getting in the trenches and understanding the ground realities. Mr. Nanda also explained students about Unconscious incompetence, conscious incompetence, conscious competence, and unconscious competence. The speaker advised students that one should develop sound knowledge, positive interaction skills, good communication; working in teams, effective PPT’s and reasoned decision making skills which would help them to adapt to corporate life and achieve success in their fields. After the session, refreshments were served to students. Later, the students were taken on an Dibon Campus tour where in the guide assigned explained about various departments and divisions in the campus and also their contribution in the success of Dibon Group of Companies as an emerging giant. Students enjoyed the knowledge full outing and thanked the Dibon Management for taking their precious time out in explaining them.

17 Students Selected from E-Max



A Campus placement drive was organized by US Based Symphony Enterprises & Shreeram Fortune at Emax Group of Institutions. 17 MBA & B.Tech (Computer Science & Information Technology) students were picked up by the Companies . Over 770 students participated in the Campus Placement drive from over 21 colleges across North India. Students from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh also rushed towards E-max for participation in this Joint Campus. Malika Madra HR Manager & her Team of Symphony Enterprises was present on behalf of the Company to select students. The process included GD Round followed by final HR selection round. The Company offers package of Rs. 2.4 lakhs to the selected candidates. The selected candidates would also be given a pre placement training by the Company. Vinesh Kaistha, Territory Sales Manager & his Team of Shreeram Fortune s was present on behalf of the Company to select students. The process included pre-placement discussions followed by final HR selection round. The Company offers package of Rs. 3.00 lakhs to the selected candidates. Giving details of the visit , Finance Secretary Rajiv Bansal & General Secretary Pradeep Aggarwal said that the on going placement drive aims at giving the students an opportunity to find well deserved meaningful placement with excellent packages. Tech Mahindra picks 22 students from Emax Group of Institutions



A Joint Campus Placement Drive was organized at E-max Group of Institutions by Tech Mahindra for picking up Final year Diploma & MBA students of the region. Over 575 students from across various colleges of north India participated in the joint placement drive. The drive started with a pre-placement talk by Ishvinder Kaur, Head HR, RMG Tech Mahindra & her team. This was followed by group discussion round in which 118 candidates were short listed. Finally 22 students were selected after the personal and technical interviews. The selected candidates will join as Customer service associates with salary packages ranging from 1.20 to 1.80 lacs Company’s representatives expressed satisfaction on the quality of the students and wished them a bright future ahead and assured to visit again for selection of more students from Emax Group of Institutions. Emax brings a day of smile for the kids from slum


Faculty Members and Students of Emax Group of Institutions celebrated the yummy Chocolate Day with slum children. This was an unforgotable experience for the poor children who were also educated about the importance of education. Teams of faculty members went to brick kilns, slums and villages to distribute chocolates. Dr. B.S Jaswal, Director Emax Institute of Computer Applications; Er. Sunil Kumar Arya, Director, Emax Business School and Praveen Sharma, Media Manager, Emax Group lead teams for proper distribution and education awareness campaign. Chairman of Emax Group of Institutions Om Prakash Aggarwal appreciated faculty and students for showing grace to the financially weaker section of kids. He said that youth should participate in community development activities for overall development of our Nation.

Pathbreakers communication services Pvt. Ltd. picks 4 students from Emax


Joint Placement Drive was organized at Emax Group of Institutions by Pathbreakers communication services Pvt. Ltd. for picking up bright Final year MBA students of the Colleges in the North Region. Over 80 students from various Colleges & the region participated in this joint campus. The drive started with a pre-placement talk by Sambhav Kumar, Vice President, Pathbreakers communication services Pvt. Ltd. & his team. This was followed by group discussion to shortlist selected candidates. 21 students cleared Group Discussion round. Finally 4 students were selected after the personal and technical interviews. 10 Students selected in Joint Campus of Reliance Life Insurance from E-Max


A Campus placement drive for MBA Students was organized by Reliance Insurance Limited, an ADAG Group Company for its various openings in North India. 285 students from various management institutes from the region participated in the drive. 34 students were short listed after group discussion round and finally 10 students were selected after the Personal HR Interviews. Mr. Ambar Mongia Sr Teritory Manager & Divya Sharma, ETM with his team members were present for the Campus Selections.

The selected students will be joining as Manager in Reliance Life Insurance Company in various places of North India. A salary package of Rs. 4.0 Lacs to 5.00 lacs p.a. will be given to the selected candidates.

Chairman of Emax Group Om Prakash Aggarwal expressed his gratitude to the company officials and wished a bright future to the selected students. He said that sincerity, dedication to work and ethical values alone shall make them winners and give them a fulfilling career. Tributes pour in for Kalpana Chawla on her 9th death anniversary

Memories of Kalpana Chawla came alive as academicians, faculty members and students of Emax Group of Institutions paid rich tributes to her on her ninth death anniversary here on Wednesday. A function was organised at E-Max Group of Institutions and glowing tributes were paid to Kalpana Chawla. The participants observed a two-minute

silence on the occasion. Tributes were paid to Kalpana Chawla by Dr. B.S Jaswal, Director Emax Institute of Computer Applications; Sunil Arya, Director Emax Business School at a prayer meeting at the Campus. A two-minute silence was observed during the prayer meeting. Later, faculty members, office-bearers and students of the institute paid floral tributes to Kalpana Chawla.

Deepankar Kumar Ashish, Head of Department at Emax Engineering College , Ex Student of Post Graduation from Panjab Engineering College University of Technology from where Kalpana had done her Aeronautical Engineering in 1982. He said that Kalpana Chawla was awarded the Congressional Space Medal of Honor, the NASA Space Flight Medal, and the NASA Distinguished Service Medal.

Chairman Om Prakash Aggarwal said that Kalpana who had laid her life for the betterment of the humanity was an inspiration for young asians who aspired to join NASA. He said it is not appropriate to give her tribute without knowing her achievement and the scarifies, a nightmare that if would shaken when we think the way they were died and burn. There are some jobs beyond ordinary things and they are few or rare who dares to do something at the risk of life and Kalpana Chawla was one of them.
