Emax campaigns on Anti Child Labour Day

Emax Group of Institutions organized a series of activities to generate awareness against child labour on Anti Child Labour Day.

4 teams were formed under the guidance of Praveen Sharma & Sunil Arya to visit various places of Chandigarh & Panchkula. Various areas and activities where the frequency of the child labors is more are identified. Awareness campaign in various activity areas like Bricks Bhatta, Street kids were organized.

I have no idea what child labour day means. Yes, I want to go to school and study but my father is no more. So I have to work with my mother here the whole day to earn some money to help run the house," Rajan, a Child labour working on a brick kiln told Students.

Om Parkash Aggarwal, Chairman of E-Max Group of Institutions appreciate the B.Ed. Faculty members and students, who organised such type of event and aware the parents of child labour. He said that Poverty is widely considered the as the top reason why these children take up inappropriate jobs for their ages. The parents of child labourers are often unemployed or underemployed. A lot many times, the family expectations and traditions force the children into jobs. Other reasons for the systematic inclusion of this tiny little labour brigade include child abuse, lack of good education, public opinion that downplays the risk of early work for children and uncaring attitudes of employers.

College Vice Chairman P.R. Bansal congratulate the organizing team and said that on Anti-Child Labour Day, everyone should take a pledge to help at least one child worker around them.

He said that resourceful people of society should come forward to include low socio-economic families in main stream of the society, so that the evils like Child Labour can be discarded from the country.

9 Civil Diploma Civil students selected In Campus Placement drive at E-max

A Campus placement drive for Civil Diploma students was organized by Samriti Engineers Private Limited at Emax Group of Institutions. Final year students participated in the drive. The process started with a pre-placement talk by Er. Devinder Chawla, Managing Director of Samriti Engineers Private Limited. This was followed by technical interviews. Students selected in technical interviews appeared for HR interviews. Finally 9 students were selected by the Company Officials. The selected students will start their career as Junior Engineers and Surveyors and will be given various projects in North and Central India.

Samriti Engineers private limited is a Delhi based consulting engineering and contractor specialist company providing expert solutions for high tech construction materials. The core areas of operation of company are Structural rehabilitation / Repairs & Strengthening, Pre & Post Construction Water Proofing, clean room floor and wall systems, condition survey and Audit of structures etc. Er. Devinder Chawla and his team expressed satisfaction over the performance of the students and appreciated the modern facilities provided to the students by the College Management. The lively college campus, the enthusiastic students, the modern laboratories impressed the visiting company officials and they assured to visit again for selection of more students from Indo Global Colleges.

Vice Chairman of the college P.R. Bansal congratulated the selected students and motivated them to best to their abilities in their respective jobs. He said that the process of making Emax students better employed is progressing very well. Many Companies have visited the Campus and many more are expected to come for Campus placements in near future.

Rajiv Bansal, Finance Secretary of the College wished a bright career for the budding engineers, congratulating the placement team in their efforts to find suitable placement for each and every student of Emax. He stressed upon the qualities like devotion to duty, vision and discipline in work and team spirit which is essential for every engineer to progress in their career. CSW picks 6 Diploma students from Emax Group of Institutions

A placement drive was organized at Emax Group of Institutions by Chandigarh Stone Wares for picking up bright Final year Mechanical Diploma students of the College. Over 55 students of the college participated in the placement drive.

The drive started with a pre-placement talk by Deepak Singla, Director Chandigarh Stone Wares and team. This was followed by technical written test to shortlist selected candidates. 18 students cleared the written technical test. Finally 6 students were selected after the personal and technical interviews. The selected candidates will join as Junior Quality Engineer from 1 July.

Company’s Representative expressed satisfaction on the quality of the students and wished them a bright future ahead and assured to visit again for selection of more students from Emax Group of Institutions.

Rajiv Bansal, Secretary Finance of the Emax Group congratulated the selected students and motivated them to their best to their abilities in their respective jobs

Vice Chairman P.R Bansal thanked the officials of both the companies and stressed upon the students to work with a clear vision and focus to succeed in the highly competitive scenario. Book Mela in Emax on World Book Day


Emax Group of Institutions celebrated World Book Day by organizing a Book Mela in the college campus. A huge exhibition of books was organized by various publishers of the north India and various religious, creative and inspirational books were exhibited. Books like autobiographies of various leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela along with the novels of Premchand, Bhartendu Harishchand and Haribansh Rai Bacchan were some of the books that attracted the students of all branches of the college.

The Book Mela was inaugurated by Vice Chairman P.R. Bansal of the college by cutting the ribbon. Addressing the students he said that in this era of competition the students should read more newspapers and stay updated. The book mela was coordinated by Surinder Kumar, Head Librarian of the college along with coordinator Geeta Sharma. A interactive session was also held in the college to discuss the various ways to improve reading habits among the students. More than 500 students visited the book mela. During the exhibition Chairman of the College Om Prakash Aggarwal, Finance Secretary Rajiv Bansal, Media Manager Praveen Sharma, Training and placement officer Sunil Arya, Coordinator Engineering Anmol Gautam, Kuldeep Kaur from B.Ed College were present with other faculty members.

Chairman of the college Om Prakash Aggarwal appreciated the head librarian and said that despite books in their curriculum, inspirational and spiritual books are also required as they are very much required for the overall development of the students.

Save Earth Campaign at Emax

E Max Group of Institutions celebrated Earth day by organizing various awareness campaigns against increasing global warming and other issues related to climate change. More than 100 students along with faculty members participated in the slogan writing competition organized in which various topics like saving trees, minimizing plastic use, using paper intelligently etc. Four teams were formed in the guidance of Vibha and Kuldeep Kaur, which campaigned and educated farmers of the region about ill effects of burning husk of paddy fields. Farmers were told by means of visual charts how the burning of left over husk will cause air pollution but also make the soil unfertile.

A poster, slogan and essay writing completion was also organized by Education College of Emax. Dr. B.S Jaiswal, Director of the college was the Chief Guest and Judge of the completion. Rajni Rani stood first and Ravi stood second in the poster making competition. Ravi and Jaimal singh were adjacent first and second respectively n the slogan writing completion. Winners of the completion were awarded by the Chairman of the College.

Blood Donation is the biggest donation for a human : Sameer Pal Srow


Blood Donation Camp organized in Emax Group of Institutions in association with Red Cross Society and Rotary Club achieves a milestone by collecting 148 Units of Blood. Chief Guest of Shri. S.P Srow, IAS Deputy Commissioner Ambala inaugurated the Blood donation Camp. Susheel Kumar Sub Divisional Magistrate of Barara, Nayab Tehsildaar of Mullana , President of Rotary Club Ambala, Chairman of Emax College Om Prakash Aggarwal, Vice Chairman of College P.R. Bansal, General Secretary Pradeep Aggarwal, Finance Secretary Rajiv Bansal were among the dignitaries who were present during the donation camp.

Program started with lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest. It was followed by Saraswati Vandana sung by MBA Students of Emax Business School. A Rangoli and Poster Making competition was also organized during the blood donation camp and the winners were given prizes by the chief guest.

A team of doctors headed by Dr. Virender Bharti from Blood Bank, General Hospital, Ambala City collected the blood from the volunteers after due screening and general medical check up. The students exhibited extreme enthusiasm, both boys as well as girls from all four colleges ie engineering, MBA, diploma and B.Ed came forward to donate blood.

Addressing the audiences and donors Chief Guest Srow said that that Blood donation not only saved lives but also contributed to moral, spiritual and physical growth of a person. He said that blood cannot be synthesized and manufactured anywhere; only human body is the source of blood in this world. Extending their gratitude towards E Max Group of Colleges, the team of Doctors said, The E-Max Group of Institutions is famous for its social initiatives and their alliance with our cause strengthens its credibility and we look forward the more such associations.

Om Prakash Aggarwal, Chairman of the college said that being a part of such noble social causes heightens our sense of social responsibility and gives us an edge above our counterparts. Vice Chairman P.R. Bansal appreciated students for participating in this noble cause.

Entrepreneurship is the future of Nation: Om Parkash Agarwal


A web portal
designed and developed by Emax Computer Science Engineering students in association with Emax Business School was launched by Om Parkash Agarwal, Chairman of E-Max Group of Institutions on eve of World Entrepreneurship Day here today.

The web portal http://entrepreneursemax.blogspot.com is launched and it allows users to share ideas, activities, events, interests and resources within their individual networks on topics like social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship resource planning, Incubation Centre development and modes to promote entrepreneurship. The objective of the web portal is to raise international awareness towards entrepreneurship and to promote more and more engineers and managers to become entrepreneurship.

While launching the web portal Chairman said that celebration of WED aims to remind the world that it is entrepreneurs who have consistently led sluggish economies back to prosperity and growth through innovation and job creation. He said that Emax Group of Institutions is providing counseling and expert guidance to young engineers and managers who want to become entrepreneurs. Chairman again said that college is in progress to coordinate with department of Science and Technology (Government of India) to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in India. Experience and expertise at Emax in the areas of management, innovation, technology networks along with entrepreneurship provide the necessary impetus and intellectual basis for this initiative.

MoU for preparing Ethical Hacking Professionals by US Based EC Council at Emax


In order to educate the students of Emax Institutions on the benefits and importance of Ethical Hacking College has recently signed a MoU with Channel Partner of EC-Council. EC-Council is a professional body established in USA, which certifies individuals in various e-business and security skills. They are the owner and developer of the world famous Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and EC-Council Certified Security Specialist (ECSS) and many other fundamental programs in the realm of Wireless Networks and Security. This initiative has made Emax the first Institution in Haryana to take such a step. MoU was signed by Rajiv Bansal Finance Secretary Emax and Sumit Gupta, Director Secure Net Technologies, Authorized Channel Partner of EC-Council in India. Vice Chairman Prithi Raj Bansal, General Secretary Pradeep Aggarwal, Media Advisor Praveen Sharma and Training Placement Officer Sunil Arya were also present during the signing of MoU.

The International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) is a member-supported professional organization headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. The EC-Council also operates the EC-Council University, offering Masters Degrees in Security Science (MSS) and Business Administration in e-business(MEB)

This MoU will facilitate the delivery of EC-Council courses at Emax through the trainers from Secure Net, the Authorized Training Centre for EC-Council. “This is the first time that such a tie up has been facilitated in Haryana. In the current times, dependency on internet has increased. This course will not only help the students in learning about a new field but also improve their job prospects.” said Dr Baljeet Kapoor, Director General of the College.

Chairman of the College Om Prakash Aggarwal said that organizations and companies are employing ethical hackers so as to quantitatively assess and measure threats to information assets and discover where the organization is most vulnerable.

Excitement could be seen among the students on hearing about the association. Thrilled on being asked about the interest to learn the course Harman from Computer Science Department said, “I had heard about this course a lot but did not know where to do it from. It is great that the University has facilitated to provide this in the campus itself. I am surely enrolling myself for it!”

339 Students Selected In E-Max Mega Job Fest

A 10 days Mega Job Fair organised by Emax Group of Institutes concluded here today with total selections of 339 candidates from different branches and colleges of the region. A cultural program was organized by the students of Emax College of Education to mark the closing ceremony of the fest. During the closing ceremony Offer letters were awarded to selected candidates by the Chairman of the College. In this fair 6430 students registered and 3090 students attended the placement drives. After all rounds of selection processes finally 339 students were selected.

Many recruiters from ITES/BPO, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, FMCG, Consumer durables, Stock Broking, Education and companies from many other segments visited Emax to pick up the bright students. Students from MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, B.COM. B.Sc, BA, B.Tech, Diploma & ITI etc with or without experience visited the campus. Notable companies which visited the campus are Secure Line Insurance Ltd., HDFC Bank Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd., Blue Bweacon Electronic Security Systems Pvt. Ltd., Omega Maritime Management Services Pvt. Ltd., Tech Mahendra, H.B. Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Unicom Telelinks Ltd., Parthbrakers Communications, KMG Infotech, NIIT, Berkelay Automobiles, Noviya Systems, SLR Infotech Pvtd. , HCL Systems, SEBIZ Infotech, Jai Mahadev Corporate Services Ltd. etc.

Ceremony started with saraswati vandana. Students performed Group Dances like Gidda and Bhangda. Haryanvi Songs and various plays were also performed under the supervision of Sushma Kashyap and Kuldeep Kaur during the function.

Despite Chairman Om Prakash Aggarwal, Vice Chairman Prithvi Raj Bansal, General Secretary Pradeep Aggarwal, Finance Secretary Rajiv Bansal, Director Dr. B.S. Jaiswal, Training and Placement Officer engineer Sunil Arya, Media Manager Praveen Sharma and all faculty members were also present during the Conference.

71 More selected from Emax

During the mega placement fest at E-Max Group of Institutions four Corporates visited the campus for picking up bright students of Diploma, B.Tech, MBA & MCA. The Corporates were HCL Infosystems Ltd., SEBIZ, DLF Pramerica Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and Jai Mahadev Corporate Services. Over 410 students from various Colleges of the region participated in the drives and in last 2 days 71 students were selected.

HCL Infosystems Ltd represented by Nishant Kumar, Business Manager & Team conducted a written test for Computer Science and Information Technology Engineering Students 43 students were shortlisted for the final personal interviews. After interview 23 students were finally selected. SEBIZ represented by Aroop Srivastava T&P Manager & Team conducted written test for MCA students and shortlisted 33 students for the interviews. Finally 11 MCA Students were selected for working in SEBIZ. DLF Pramerica Ltd. represented by Mandeep Singh, Dy. Manager (SMP) & team gave pre placement presentation to over 110 students. After Group Discussions 42 students were shortlisted. Finally 21 students were selected from MBA – Marketing, Finance and Human Resources and will be working as Sr. Executives from July onwards in DLF Pramerica. Mahadev Corporate Services represented by Director Vishal Khanna & team conducted placement drive for the selection of eligible diploma students and finally selected 16 students.

93 students selected in first two days of Phase-II in Emax Mega Placement Fest

During the mega placement fest at E-Max Group of Institutions many Corporates visited the campus in first two days of Phase-II for picking up bright students of Diploma, B.Tech, MBA & MCA. The Corporates were Parthbraker Communications pvt ltd, KMG Infotech, NIIT, Berkelay Automobiles, Noviya Systems & SLR Infotech Pvt Ltd. Over 630 students from various Colleges of the region participated in the drives. The inauguration of the phase II of this mega placement fest was done by Manish Govil, Vice President, KMG Infotech by lighting of lamp.

Parthbrakers represented by Avdesh Pundir, Sr. Manager & Team , KMG Infotech represented by Vice President Manish Govil & Team, NIIT represented by Center Manager Ms. Charan Manjari, Berkelay Automobile represented by HR Managers Ms. Vanita and Manju Sharma, Noviya Systems represented by HR Head Indian Operations Ms. Vijeta & Team and SLR Infotech Pvt Ltd represented by Bharat Bhushan & Team conducted placement drives for the selection of eligible students. The selection process of the companies varies from company to company. Finally 93 students were selected after the personal interviews. The selected students would be drawing yearly salary ranging from Rs.1.5 lacs to Rs.3.50 lacs per annum.
