Blood Donation is the biggest donation for a human : Sameer Pal Srow


Blood Donation Camp organized in Emax Group of Institutions in association with Red Cross Society and Rotary Club achieves a milestone by collecting 148 Units of Blood. Chief Guest of Shri. S.P Srow, IAS Deputy Commissioner Ambala inaugurated the Blood donation Camp. Susheel Kumar Sub Divisional Magistrate of Barara, Nayab Tehsildaar of Mullana , President of Rotary Club Ambala, Chairman of Emax College Om Prakash Aggarwal, Vice Chairman of College P.R. Bansal, General Secretary Pradeep Aggarwal, Finance Secretary Rajiv Bansal were among the dignitaries who were present during the donation camp.

Program started with lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest. It was followed by Saraswati Vandana sung by MBA Students of Emax Business School. A Rangoli and Poster Making competition was also organized during the blood donation camp and the winners were given prizes by the chief guest.

A team of doctors headed by Dr. Virender Bharti from Blood Bank, General Hospital, Ambala City collected the blood from the volunteers after due screening and general medical check up. The students exhibited extreme enthusiasm, both boys as well as girls from all four colleges ie engineering, MBA, diploma and B.Ed came forward to donate blood.

Addressing the audiences and donors Chief Guest Srow said that that Blood donation not only saved lives but also contributed to moral, spiritual and physical growth of a person. He said that blood cannot be synthesized and manufactured anywhere; only human body is the source of blood in this world. Extending their gratitude towards E Max Group of Colleges, the team of Doctors said, The E-Max Group of Institutions is famous for its social initiatives and their alliance with our cause strengthens its credibility and we look forward the more such associations.

Om Prakash Aggarwal, Chairman of the college said that being a part of such noble social causes heightens our sense of social responsibility and gives us an edge above our counterparts. Vice Chairman P.R. Bansal appreciated students for participating in this noble cause.
