Emax cricket fans performed ritual hawan for Indian Cricket Team

In the midst of high excitement for Cricket World Cup all around, Emax Cricket fans performed a ritual ‘Havan’ for the victory of Team India. The two hour Havan started with great enthusiasm with Mantra Uchcharan and Shabad (sacred chants).The pandit was called to pray for victory of the Indian Cricket Team. The students not only sang Bhajans during the Havan but also read mantras “India World Cup Jeet Ke Aao” to complete the rituals. During the Havan the campus was echoed with the mantras and slogans like “ Chak De India”, “ Jeeto India Jeeto” etc. Beside the cricket fans of the college Pardeep Aggarwal General Secretary, Rajiv Bansal Finance Secretary, Dr. Baljeet Kapoor Director General, Rajiv Nayyar Director Sports, Praveen Sharma Media Manager and Sunil Arya, Training and placement officer were also participated in the Havan Puja happened at the College Campus.

Chairman of the college Om Prakash Aggarwal said that the World Cup is on its way and definitely we all Indians want India to win the title. He said that World Cup Cricket is a chance for us to celebrate cricket and to promote sports culture within the youth. His message for the Indian Cricket Team is “Second to none, bring home the Cup.“Pradeep Aggarwal said that their love for Cricket was always seen as college is coming up with a all facility cricket ground soon. Hope the team shows excellent play and wins the pride for India.

Rajiv Nayyar Director Sports said that he hoped Indian team would be able win this prestigious cup. He said that we decided to do this because our Emax cricket team members are real cricket fans and genuinely wanted to do something positive to promote sports in the institute.
