Collaboration of E-max with Netherlands based World's largest student run organization AIESEC

Chandigarh: E-max Group of Institutions collaborated with one of the worlds largest Student run organization AIESEC headquartered in Netherlands for jointly working on Global Exchange programme with over 1600 universities through out the world. The collaboration aims at encouraging students to go for work abroad programme and live projects during graduation and post graduation in Continents of Asia, America, Europe, South America, Australia and Africa. Mr. Mustafa from Kabul University, Afghanistan; Ms. Julia from Germany; Ms. Flora from Germany; Mr. Hasan from CapeTown, South Africa were representing their respective Countries. Vice Chairman Prithvi Raj Bansal, Pradeep Aggarwal, General Secretary; Rajiv Bansal Finance Secretary ; Sunil Arya, Training & Placement Officer and Praveen Sharma, Media Manager were present on behalf of E-max.

The papers of Collaboration for joint working were signed by Karan Garg, Team Leader, Global Exchange and Om Prakash Aggarwal Aggarwal, Chairman of Emax Group of Institutions. By Signing this MoU E-max students will be given a chance to work on abroad projects of AIESEC partnership companies like Alcatel-Lucent, ING, Vale, DP-DHL, Facebook, Electrolux, IE Business School, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Reckitt Benckiser, Husqvarna, Microsoft, Artemisia, Tata Consultancy Services and UBS. These partnerships are mainly related to presence of these partners at AIESEC's forums, and provision of talent from AIESEC to these partners AIESEC provides global talent sourcing for PwC, Alcatel Lucent, and DHL. AnĂ­bal Cavaco Silva, former President of Portugal is the current Government Head of State along with Martti Ahtisaari former presendent of Finland. Ratan Naval Tata Chairman of Tata Group, Adi Godrej Chairman of Godrej Group and Nandan Nilekani, Chairman of Unique Identification Authority of India were some of the noteworthy personalities supporting AIESEC India.

This collaboration was to be followed up by seminar on the theme ‘Global Exchange – Work Abroad Programme’ witnessing sessions on ‘Understanding globalization’, ‘Understanding Cross Cultural Environment’, ‘Exploring Leadership potential by representing India Abroad’, ‘ Youth Development’ etc.

It is present in over 1,600 universities across the globe, provides more than 10,000 leadership experiences to its members and sends students and graduates on 10,000 international exchanges yearly.

Om Prakash Aggarwal said that the collaboration is essentially meant to evolve strategies for giving a practical shape to industry-institute Interaction and thus mutual benefit. He said that soon a industry- interaction cell is being build up in the campus to bridge the gap between academics and industry requirements.
